This isn't just a 5K
We didn't want people to just attend a 5K. We wanted them to feel like they experienced the honest miles: the word honest showing up in the mile markers, the finish line, the check in, and the walk to the car after. Nothing about this day is here to look good in a photo. It's here to make someone feel seen.

The Course
Instead of just passing a marker, every mile asks you something. You don't have to answer out loud. You just have to sit with it for a minute.
“How are you… really?”
“What’s something you’ve been carrying that no one knows?”
“What’s one thing you’re proud of yourself for?”
“Who helped you get here?”
“Thank you for showing up.”

The Finish
Whether it took twenty minutes or a full hour, the finish line says the same thing to everyone who crosses it: you're not leaving alone, and you weren't running alone either. No one packs up early. No one gets an empty finish chute. The atmosphere stays until the very last person comes through, because that's the whole point.
The Medal
Every participant gets the same medal, no matter how fast or slow they crossed the line. It was never about speed. It's about the decision to show up, for yourself, and for someone else who needed to see you there.

Resource tables are set up the same way: not clinical, not a pamphlet handoff. Just a space to keep the conversation going if you want to.
Before You Run
At registration, every participant is invited to anonymously answer one prompt on an Honest Card. No names, no pressure, just whatever's true that day. It's the first half of a pair: what you write now, and what you'll add again at the finish line on the Honest Check-In. Both live together on the Honesty Wall for anyone to read.
By The End
At the finish, everyone adds one word for how they feel now, and one word for how they felt when they arrived. Alongside the Honest Cards from registration, it becomes the Honesty Wall: a picture of what the whole community carried in, and what they carried out.

No. All paces welcome. Whether it takes twenty minutes or a full hour, the finish line waits for every single person to cross it, and every participant gets the same medal.
3.1 miles (5.0 km). Every mile asks you something. You don’t have to answer out loud.
When you register you’re invited to anonymously answer one prompt. It’s optional, it’s shown on the Honesty Wall, and it’s never linked to your name.
Yes. Check the under 18 box on the registration form and a parent or guardian signs the waiver.
Yes. Add a team name when you register (it’s optional) and your team shows up together on the Teams page.
Your confirmation email includes your check-in code. Show it on your phone or printed, and we’ll scan or look it up.
Registration is final: we don’t offer refunds, transfers, or deferrals simply because plans changed. We do make exceptions case by case, for example a documented medical emergency, or if we cancel or significantly change the event. If we cancel entirely, you choose a full refund or roll your registration forward to the next race. Read the full refund policy.
Yes. Volunteers run the Refresh, Reset and Recharge stations, marshal the course and help with packet pickup. Pick a role and we’ll follow up with details.
